I am from a countryside, and since I was a child, I have felt compelled to migrate to the city for a better future, just as my family did to a town 10 kilometres away for better education and employment. After college, I relocated to the metropolis in search of a better job opportunity.

During my master's programme, I had the opportunity to study in Farnham, United Kingdom, and when I arrived, the university campus was surrounded by a number of villages. I was curious as to whether the situation of villages in developed countries was similar to that of Indian villages. This work is a voyage across the villages in the United Kingdom in order to better grasp what village life is like in the United Kingdom.
